MATTER WAVES :

 

Waves associated with material particles in motion are called matter waves. Matter waves are referred as de-broglie waves.All matter exhibits wave like behaviour. Particles like electrons,protons,neutrons etc..  exhibit wave nature when in motion.

 

De-Broglie proposed that there is no fundamental difference in the make up and behaviour of  energy and matter,but behave as if made up of either particles or waves,depending on the conditions
